Bright Light illuminated handrails provide a uniquely stylish alternative to the practical necessity of staircase lighting, stairwell lighting, step lighting and pathway lighting. 

The strength and longevity of our 316 grade stainless steel has been married to the most modern and enduring of light sources (LEDs) to provide a stylish and unique solution with a luster all of it's own.

LED’s or light emitting diodes are a semi-conductor light source. They have many advantages over traditional light sources which make them suitable for “Bright Light” handrails including:

  • Size, LED’s are much smaller than traditional lights making installation easier.
  • Cool light, LED’s generate significantly less heat than traditional lights including incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubing. Heat of handrails is an important consideration.
  • Lifetime, LED’s can last up to 25 times the lifetime of a traditional incandescent bulb and up to 10 times longer than fluorescent lights. This is an important consideration concerning frequency of maintenance and also cost to replace the bulbs.  
  • Environmental Sustainability, LED lighting uses up to 85% less power for the equivalent amount of light than traditional lighting methods. Use of LED technology reduces carbon emissions, reducing electricity costs and contributing to environmental sustainability.

Options include; battery backup, strobe effects and multiple colour lights.
